Brazilian Keratin Treatment with Collagen
This revolutionary process developed in Brazil transforms the hair returning it to its original healthy, shiny and smooth state. By infusing the hair with Keratin (the primary protein in hair, skin and nails) and sealing the cuticle locking in moisture and locking out humidity, rain and perspiration. Frizz and mushrooming hair can be a thing of the past. With BKT unlike traditional crème relaxers or the Japanese Straightening System the condition of hair is replenished without causing damage or change of the molecular structure. This allows the hair to return to its natural curly or wavy form as the treatment dissipates out of the hair over several months eliminating the line of demarcation with straight ends and curly regrowth.
We do offer a truley formaldehyde free formula and a low formaldehyde formula of 1.6%. I choose not to use the stronger formulas going up to 8% and higher for my and my clients saftey and health. The product line I use is not the one that has been in question latley and I have been assured that the air quality tests that have been preformed on the formaldehyde free product show no formaldehyde.
