My concept for an alternative environment blending hair styling with relaxation and taking into consideration the whole package, mind, body and spirit in hopes of nourishing all three - while in the process providing high quality products and services seemed an unusual dream. In 1998 my dreams became a reality when I was able to start my own business in a small studio in Raleigh. With the appreciation of my unique approach to a salon I was able to relocate into a larger salon for over six years and now we have doubled that space in our new location as of October 1st 2007.
Currently I have been able to start incorporating the next steps of my visions, blending professional quality services and products with non-toxic in mind. Not an easy feat, but I believe it is so important to start looking in this direction and working toward controlling the chemicals in our personal environment. Even if most people can't eliminate the majority of excess chemicals they are exposed to (and I am one of them), every little bit helps especially if it comes in direct contact with our skin.
I look forward to continually expanding my business and visions toward an alternative salon and healing center that maintains the peaceful relaxing environment where my clients come first and the exploration of beneficial processes and products to restore balance to our mind, body and spirit.

Tracy Rains has been working in the cosmetology profession for over 20 years. She is a proficient stylist for various types, textures and lengths of hair. She listens to what you want but also helps direct you to find the cut, color and eyebrow shaping that will awaken your full potential. Tracy will discuss your options regarding your facial structure and time restraints for styling. This along with her creativity and expertise leave her clients completely satisfied. Aside from her in salon work she frequently goes on location for fashion shows, photo shoots and weddings. Tracy is the proud mother of two amazing and beautiful daughters.
